The University of Warwick has commissioned you to collect data from students on campus.
They would like to understand better how students experience their master's studies. Thus,
they are only interested in data from PGT students. They hired you to gain insights into
students' social and academic integration on campus based on socio-demographic variables.

Please provide a comprehensive report of the data you collected and present it in a way that
is easy to understand for someone who might not have the same quantitative analytical
skills as you.

Briefing 2: Efficiency of Intercultural Training at SuccessFactors PLC

SuccessFactors PLC is a company specialising in Human Resource Training Support. As such,
they offer extensive Intercultural Training to companies of various sizes and international
experience. As part of their company-wide annual review, they would like to understand
better how satisfied trainees are with the training provided in 2022 and to what extent this
training helped them to gain more confidence in intercultural situations. You are not
supposed to consider any training that was offered in previous years.

Please provide a comprehensive report of the data you collected and present it in a way that
is easy to understand for someone who might not have the same quantitative analytical
skills as you.

Briefing 3: Development of an Intercultural Competence Assessment tool at IntelliMark
Ltd.

IntelliMark Ltd is an international marketing consulting company that operates in 30
different countries. They commissioned you to maximise the intercultural competencies of
its employees. Part of your job is to develop a suitable assessment tool which enables the
organisation to assess intercultural competence development in the coming years. You
collected some pilot data based on your first version of the assessment tools and also asked
participants to provide feedback about the questionnaire itself, e.g. whether the
questionnaire was too long.

Please provide a comprehensive report of the data you collected and present it in a way that
is easy to understand for someone who might not have the same quantitative analytical
skills as you. Be aware that you might need to create new variables to recode the qualitative
comments so that they can be used for further analysis.

For the chosen briefing, you will have to complete all of the following tasks using R:
Explain the goal of your data analysis in your own words based on the chosen brief,
i.e. provide one or two research questions. No hypotheses are needed.
Perform data wrangling and explain how this affects your analysis.
Describe the participants and explain how this affects the data interpretation in your
next analytical steps.
Use an appropriate analytical technique to answer your research question.
Provide interpretations of your analysis and recommendations to help your client
understand the status quo.
Use data visualisations to complement the presentation of findings.

You will be assessed based on the following criteria:
How well are the research questions formulated and focused?
How well do the research questions reflect the client's needs?
How much did you engage with the data, e.g. how much of the data was analysed
and in what depth?
How much care has gone into considering which data analysis technique(s) should be
chosen?
How well have you answered the research questions and provided insights that are
easy to comprehend and logically derived?
How well are the findings presented to make them accessible to less research-savvy
audiences?
